In this candid 30-minute conversation, I'll be joined by Heather McTeer Toney (Executive Director, Beyond Petrochemicals), Heather Mason (CEO, The Impact Lounge) and moderator René Jones (Partner & Chief of Social Impact, United Talent Agency) to talk leadership, persistence, and what it actually takes to turn outrage into organizing, from three women redefining what it means to be a Heather.

This Haunted Land by Betsy Gaines Quammen, my dear friend and neighbor. Betsy's book chronicles ghost stories of the American West and how our inability to confront our shared cultural history means these hauntings continue. Highly recommend!
Land by Maggie O'Farrell - Another stunning and intense novel, rooted in place and a spiritual geography, with vibrant characters that stay with you for weeks after you meet them.
The Peace of Wild Things by Wendell Berry. He will be missed.
