More Beholding & Awe, please

I'm current researching how awe, beholding & creativity help us “unself” and feel on a soul level that we are all connected. That’s going to help us get through this chaos.

Make more time to "behold" beauty in your life. Take it in. Look at it. Feel all the feels. Write about it. Describe it. Savor it. Whether it's a piece of music, a painting, a natural landscape, behold it. Pay deep attention.

Awe is a bit different. It's something so beautiful, so wondrous that you feel small - but in a good way.

When have you experienced awe in your life? For me it's almost always been outside. Whatever gives you that sense of holy insignificance, create more it. Lean into it.

Yes, keep calling your elected officials about the issues you care about, but also go outside, unplug, be creative, and support the artists you know and love.
