My NEW TED talk! Eco-Anxiety: A Message to Our Future Selves

I know 2025 has meant significant uncertainty and devastating rollbacks on the environment, public health, and human rights, but I'm excited to share some joy. I think we could all use some right now.

 My TEDX Talk from #TEDxGreatPacificGarbagePatch is LIVE! The conference was about how to solve the plastic pollution crisis.

What if our eco-anxiety isn't a warning, but a call to action to tap into our creativity and change the conversation to what's possible? 

 I talk about time travel, creativity, and how to connect with your future self. You'll get to meet the Crazy Mountains, understand more about Deep Time, and ask what your plan is for your (likely) 30,000 days here on earth. 

 And yes, I age myself through a TikTok filter and share my artistic vision and sketches (see the background of this email ) for a greener, healthier, more just future. I think you'll get a kick out of it. Plus, it's only 6 minutes long.

 The day included 37 speakers to cover topics including policy, social justice, regenerative & reusable materials, science, and more, all sharing solutions to solve the plastic pollution crisis. We are a strong collective movement showing how solutions are possible! Thank you to the Plastic Pollution Coalition, HipHop Caucus & Environmental Working Group for putting together such an inspiring event.
